Ex aequo E3S Eurosense Student Award – Martina Galler
I feel honoured to be one of the recipients of the E3S student award to attend Eurosense 2020 and I would like to thank the E3S committee for the recognition of my research as well as my supervisors and co-authors for their collaboration and support. For us PhD candidates the attendance of conferences is so important, to present our own work but also to learn from and be inspired by the research of others. Therefore, I am really glad that the conference could still take place in a virtual setting despite the difficult COVID circumstances.
This years Eurosense moto, “A sense of innovation” matched my own research topic well. I had the opportunity to present results of my co-creation research with children in the Parallel Session 11: “Consumer behaviour methods” and to contribute to the workshop organized by my supervisor Paula Varela and Mari Sandell: “Involving consumers in research and innovation”.
In the context of the Marie Curie project Edulia where my PhD is based in, the keynotes concerned with healthy eating by Suzanne Higgs, Ellen van Kleef, Sanne Boesveldt as well as Hedwig te Molder were of particular relevance. And of course many other presentations as well. I am looking forward to watch some parallel sessions I missed in the coming year.
Thank you again.
