Takasago, a Japanese group with more than 3,000 employees worldwide, fragrance manufacturer for leading brands, is recruiting a Sensory Project Manager for the R&D department of its French entity (250 employees).
Mission
Within the R&D department, you will be Panel leader with the following missions :
- Management and organization of internal panel sessions
- Preparation of assessment sessions in coordination with the application team, pre–selection and validation of appropriate samples for sensory tasting
- Animation of training sessions and evaluation of scented products
- Hiring and training of internal panelists
- Control of panelists’ performance with corrective actions
- Training of panelists, maintaining their performance and motivation
- Development of new olfactory assessment protocols
- Bibliographic monitoring on sensory methodologies
- Analysis of results by statistical data processing
- Report writing
- Presentation of results to creative teams and international customers
Profile and Skills
- Master grade in sensory sciences, consumer panels, statistics (ENSBANA, EBI …)
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Good command of sensory softwares (Compusense) and statistic tools (Xlstat, R…)
- Strong sensitivity/affinity for the sensory domain
- Olfactive skills
- Fluent English
- Dynamic, rigorous and autonomous
- Analytical and synthesis skills
- Proposal maker
- Listening
